A great opportunity to meet the major companies delivering Sellafield's decommissioning programme
It was a busy day for us at the Sellafield Directors' Forum: There were presentations from all the key players in the Decommissioning Delivery Partnership, including CNSL, TDA and ADAPT. The Sellafield Supply Chain Team were there in force, providing valuable advice for SMEs like ours on how to engage with the Tier 2 suppliers. Viridian had one to one meetings with Jacobs (The Decommissioning Alliance) and REACT Engineering (part of Cumbria Nuclear Solutions) to learn about the consortia's activities and discuss how Viridian can help speed up the decommissioning programme. Already there are potential applications of our nuclear characterisation tools that have resulted from our day out in West Cumbria.
